About Us
Dr. Tina Thornton, Senior Pastor
In 2010, Pastor Tina was appointed by Apostle Anthony Bennett as the Pastor
of MIBEC at the Lancaster location. Soon thereafter, the Lord put it in her Spirit, that the Lancaster location will be called “The Lord’s House of Refuge” where she is currently pastoring.
The Lord’s House of Refuge is a thriving ministry. An "equipping and empowering ministry" for the Kingdom of God through the Holy Spirit and that focuses on providing individuals with the necessary tools, knowledge, and confidence to actively participate in and contribute to their faith community, essentially enabling them to fully utilize their gifts and abilities in service to others; it's about developing leaders and building a strong church body by actively equipping members to fulfill their ministry roles within the community, aligning with the biblical concept of "equipping the saints for the work of ministry" (Ephesians 4:12). Also enables members to successfully foster the spiritual growth of all its members regardless of their starting point.

Pastor Tina is a woman of prayer and of faith. She has been known to be sought out to intercede on others behalf and those that stand in need of prayer, as she is always willing to pray with you and for you. She can be reached on all “levels of faith”. Her ministry and her messages are thriving according to “2 Corinthians 5:18” . . . He gave us the “Ministry of Reconciliation,” for building the Kingdom of God. In her life, she has stood in the midst of flames of fire, storms and even death, but she has never lost her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ!
Our Vision
The Ministry of The Lord’s House of Refuge has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the lordship of Jesus Christ, and to equip, empower believers in Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and to be conformed into his image by the power of the Holy Spirit.
The Lord’s House of Refuge is committed to fulfilling, with the help of our lord Jesus Christ, the total vision He has placed before us to win souls for the Kingdom of God, to perfect and embrace the Ministry of Reconciliation.

Purpose & Function
We are to carry out the God-given vision of spreading the Gospel through the doctrine which includes eternal salvation, divine healing and health, the full operation of the gifts of the Spirit, as well as spiritual and natural prosperity. To support the Vision by setting a good example to those inside and outside the membership of The Lord’s House of Refuge by displaying a consistent lifestyle of spiritual strength, moral fortitude, and personal integrity.
